Two Synthetic Rope Soft Shackles (8mm / 1/3 in). 22,500 lb WLL/ 45,000 MBS, Aluminum Snatch Ring. Ventilated Carry Bag (approx 12″ x 11″ x 24″).
We chose soft shackles and a kinetic rope to help reduce the risk of accident during a recovery. Unlike metal shackles, these won’t become dangerous projectiles if they happen to break under strain. Synthetic soft shackles also offer a snug fit without stratches, which helps protect your finish.
This high-strength synthetic rope (Nylon), with its ability to stretch, absorbs a lot of the energy during a pull, reducing the likelihood of snapping and causing harm. As always, it is recommend to use gloves and/ or safety glasses during any recovery.
For reference, this can safely pull anything from a FourTrax 300 to a Defender MAX HD10, even when deeply stuck. But please note this is only for use with a ‘synthetic’ winch rope! Do not use a metal cable winch line with this kit.
